House of Akhilaa
The brief
House of Akhilaa Akurathi is a couture label whose garments are made to be seen up close — texture, drape, hand-work.
I needed to carry that craft into a feed that moves, without flattening the clothes into product shots.
The idea
I treat the feed as a running edit rather than a catalogue. Each week is built around one hero piece, then cut into Reels, stills and stories that each sit at a different distance from the garment.
Detail first, silhouette second, story third — a rhythm that lets the work stay slow while the channel stays active.
Channel rhythm
I plan content in weekly blocks against a rolling calendar: one hero garment, one Reel, one carousel, and reactive stories around fittings and studio days.
I write captions to sit under the image rather than explain it — short, specific, in the label’s voice.
